about glass egg

The project of Seattle based songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer Emilia Glaser, and collaborator Julian Stefanzick, glass egg, exists somewhere in a dream pop imagination. Liminal, ethereal, and deeply emotive.

Often noted to sound like a band that would appear in a Roadhouse scene of Twin Peaks, Emilia in fact grew up in the real Twin Peaks. The elusive, misty energy of the small mountain towns of the Snoqualmie Valley are deeply embedded in the sonic world of glass egg.

Meeting in 2017 while in college, Glaser and Stefanzick quickly became close friends and collaborators. glass egg was initially the solo performance project of Glaser, but brought Stefanzick in on bass in 2019.

glass egg reemerged in it's current sonic form in late 2023.
